Yes, wear a splint, take anti-inflammatories, and exercise!

Can wisdom teeth cause canker sores?

Exactly/specifically.....No.  Only other sores from biting or coming into position like the other teeth. Many times the area will get infected, making things worse.

Can you live with wisdom teeth?

Of course. My cousin has all his!

How long does it take for dental implants to heal?

Starts "healing from day 1," but it's much better 3-6 months out and many are loaded right away. A year is probably at least 80% done.

Should I go to the dentist if my gums are swollen?

Of course, it doesn't hurt to know what is going on, even if you choose to do nothing, right?

How do you fix tooth enamel?

Bond onto it with the composite/plastic that all us dentists use.

Can having a root canal cause any long-term complications?

Sometimes...but not like a toothache where you pull the tooth.

Is an implant the best way to replace a missing tooth?

No, there are many less expensive ways....some are 100% reversible!

Does dental deep cleaning hurt?

Usually later....but not like you want to pull the teeth. Usually use some antibiotic pills and some mild pain pills.

Do they put you to sleep for a root canal?

All my patients fall asleep during root canals.

Why is coconut oil recommended for teeth?

Probably because most bacteria aren't used to it. They die off somewhat.

Does my son need antibiotics after extraction?

Not usually, but it's available if needed.

"Sweets" could assume sugar and that is dangerous to your overall health and oral health in large amounts.
