There are hundreds of reasons for that, most common is periodontal disease. But again, your situation should be addressed by your dentist. I assume you are not currently being seen by a dentist. So my advice is, go see a dentist to avoid further issues as teeth should not be loose.

Yes. Is washing your plate important after picking off the food? Just poking fun The point of scaling is to remove the larger particles of hard plaque from your teeth. Polishing removes the rest of plaque or tarter that is present. It helps prevent faster buildup leaving a clean surface. It’s this plaque and tarter that irritates the gums that lead to gum disease and other problems.

Tooth decay is a multifactorial disease. What the heck does that mean, you ask? It means there are hundreds of things that work together to cause cavities. The short answer is, bacteria eat the food and drink you do, metabolize it and as a waste product they produce acid. That acid causes the soft area and then hole in your tooth. So, bacteria poop acid in your mouth. Gross, huh? So, one main way to avoid cavities is to remove the bacteria and acid from your mouth. How? Easy, brush it off with a toothbrush. That brushing removes the food, bacteria and the acid. If you use a toothpaste with fluoride it will also help strengthen you teeth and make them more resistant to the acid. In combination with that, watching your diet helps a great deal. Simple carbohydrates like sugar are loved by the bacteria. So, cutting back your frequency or intake of sugary bacteria will cut back on bacteria amounts and acid. Using a mouth rinse that kills the bacteria will also help. So, brushing, flossing, and diet are the major keys. That's why your dentist harps on you about brushing, not because he or she is a jerk and loves to talk and drive you crazy, but because your dentist likes ya and wants the best for you. Simple solution to a complex issue.
