Can a chiropractor help me get relief from muscle pain?
Absolutely. You may also assess your day-to-day routines and make any other lifestyle changes that would be conducive to less muscle inflammation. Switching to a more anti-inflammatory alkaline diet will be monumental for your success as well. But first, see a chiro, get adjusted, and begin to reap the benefits of having a sound and properly functioning nervous system. READ MORE
After healing from a sprain, why do I still feel pressure in my ankle?
You may have some structural damage that may take longer to heal and/or could even be permanent. Also, it is very likely that you misaligned some of the foot joints upon spraining the ankle. I would have a doctor of chiropractic take a look at it and see if it can be adjusted. Respectfully, READ MORE
Pulling pain in back in morning. Could it be due to sleeping position?
That could be a result of several things, especially since it is worse in the morning. Changing a pillow may fix it. Or it could be a disc or joint inflammation or degeneration issue (those tend to flare more in the morning). Switch the pillow you use and use a pillow under the legs (if you are a back sleeper) or between the knees (if you are a side sleeper). If changing your sleep habits does not work, try having a chiropractor examine the spine and possibly take a lateral X-ray of the spine to see if there is any damage through there. Respectfully, READ MORE
My back has become very curved and is pushing my stomach out. Do you think it can be corrected?
I would get a thorough chiropractic evaluation and a set of full spinal X-rays to further assess this a condition. The chiro care will help with most spinal conditions like this. READ MORE
Does overactive thyroid cause neck pain?

Is the traction table treatment permanent?
After your condition has stabilized, you will always have to do maintenance. Any machine you don’t maintain falls apart! See your care at the chiropractor as a lifestyle, not a treatment. Just like brushing teeth, cutting hair, clipping fingernails, etc. Your spine, discs, and nerves will thank you for it! READ MORE
How is back soreness treated?

My ankle hurts even after I walk a mile. What could be the reason for this?
Have it examined by an MD or chiropractor. They may x-ray to look for a stress fracture. The chiro may adjust the ankle to improve the alignment and function of the foot joints. READ MORE
My mother has developed a problem of shaking hands. What could be the reason behind it?
I would have her evaluated by a neurologist. There are a number of things that could trigger shaking in the hands. Most notably is Parkinson's, a neuro could rule that out. Also a much less serious condition is simply called essential tremor and is more common. It doesn't always have to be a disease causing the shaking. I would also have a doctor of chiropractic x-ray her neck to see the amount of damage throughout that region of the spine, as the nerves from the neck go down to supply the hands. READ MORE
